AMIKOM University Yogyakarta held a handover ceremony for the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 49410/MPK.A/KP.05.01/2021 concerning the Promotion of Lecturer Academic Positions to Prof. Dr. Kusrini, M. Kom as Professor or Professor in Computer science. The presentation of the Professor’s Decree was held in the Cinema Amikom Room on Tuesday (24/08/2021) and was held with strict health protocol standards.
The submission of this decree was delivered by Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, S.E., M.Com., Acting Head of Region V DIY Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) to the Chancellor of Amikom University Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. M. Suyanto, MM, and forwarded to Prof. Dr. Kusrini, M. Kom.
In his speech, Prof. Suyanto expressed his gratitude for achieving the highest academic position to Prof. Dr. Kusrini, M.Kom, who currently serves as Director of the Postgraduate Program. It is a gift for Amikom University Yogyakarta in this challenging time.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari appreciated the increase in professors at Amikom University Yogyakarta to 4 people. This achievement is not easy because the process is quite long to reach the highest available position. He also added that this knowledge and title must be transmitted to the public so that lecturers conduct research, but an essential thing can be helpful for the community.
