The participants were judged based on their accuracy, power, speed, rhythm, expression of energy, and presentation.

The event took place in the United Kingdom on April 11, 2021. However, since it was a virtual competition, the participants recorded their performances in their own locations and submitted them online. The organizers then evaluated the videos and announced the winners.

The event happened as a way to promote taekwondo as a martial art and a sport, and to provide an opportunity for taekwondo enthusiasts to compete and learn from each other. The event also aimed to support the Harrogate Mayor’s Charity Appeal, which raises funds for various local causes.

The event was organized by Harrogate Taekwondo Club and supported by British Taekwondo. The participants had to register online and pay a fee of £10 per category. There were 12 categories based on age and belt level. The participants had to perform two poomsae from a designated list and upload their videos to a platform called Sportdata. The videos had to follow certain rules and guidelines, such as having a clear background, wearing a dobok (taekwondo uniform), and having no music or editing. The judges then scored the videos using a system called Poomsae Pro.

Amikom University of Yogyakarta was one of the institutions that participated in the event. Amikom University is a private university that offers various programs in information technology, business, communication, and creative industries.
